How I Got Involved with End-of-Life Pet Photography
I first learned about end-of-life pet photography through The Tilly Project, an amazing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Their mission is to connect pet owners with photographers who specialize in capturing precious moments with pets at the end of their lives. They also provide educational resources for anticipatory grief, pet loss, and bereavement, which can be incredibly helpful during such an emotional time.
Through The Tilly Project, I was introduced to the opportunity to offer free pet photography sessions to families who need it most. If my schedule allows, I would be truly honored to help families in need by photographing their pets during this tender time. It’s a way to help preserve the beautiful relationship between you and your pet, offering a way to look back on the love you’ve shared, even after they’ve passed.
